Cloudland, John Burningham’s poignant tale of a young boy adventuring to the mysterious and playful Cloudland, is an ideal starting text from which to explore themes such as coping with the unknown and illness. Aimed at KS2 students reading the picture book together in class as you progress through the scheme, it uses a wide variety of games and drama techniques as well as introducing students to subject-specific drama terminology.
